Returns & Exchanges Policy

ALL SALES FINAL — MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

At Optech Holsters, all products are handcrafted and made to order.

Because each holster is custom-built based on the customer’s selected firearm, light, and configuration, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Change of mind

  • Preference for a different fit, retention, or carry style

  • Incorrect firearm or light selection

  • Ordering the wrong model or configuration

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all selections and order details are correct before placing an order.


Manufacturing Defects Only

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship.

If your product arrives with a manufacturing defect, you must contact us within 7 days of confirmed delivery, as shown by the shipping carrier’s tracking information.

If a defect is verified, Optech Holsters will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the product.

Refunds are not issued, including for approved defect claims.

Examples of Covered Manufacturing Defects

  • Cracked Kydex caused by a manufacturing flaw

  • Hardware failure (screws, posts, washers) under normal use

  • Production errors affecting fit, alignment, or retention


What Is NOT Considered a Defect

The following are not considered defects and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Cosmetic scratches, scuffs, or surface marks

  • Changes in personal preference regarding fit or retention

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications

  • Fit or compatibility issues resulting from incorrect firearm or light selection


Exchanges

Because all products are made to order, exchanges are only approved when Optech Holsters determines that the product was manufactured incorrectly due to our error.

Exchanges are not offered for customer selection errors or preference changes.


Return Shipping

If a return is approved due to a confirmed manufacturing defect, return instructions will be provided.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable


Important Legal Notice

Submitting a warranty or defect claim does not guarantee approval.
All determinations are made solely by Optech Holsters.

This policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
